Hi everyone,

This is my first post in the HDTV Software Media Discussion Forum. Been hanging out in the Rear Projection Forum (LOL).

Brokedown Palace, that's a great choice N2BLU. How about the "Beach" (Leonardo di Caprio)? I know some people here probably hate Leo(nardo), but not only is a great movie, but it has beautiful scenery.

Thanks - Matthew.

Ooo, The Abyss. But it has to be the Special Edition.

I only have the LD, since they never released an anamorphic DVD.

What about Fox TV? I'd like Angel Season 5 (was broadcast in HD), say the more recent 24's?

I would like to see "She-Devil" Starring Rosanne Barr. I think she is the most over looked actress of our time.

Yeah I've already got a lot of great stuff from Fox on D-Theater and I can't see replacing that anytime soon. But I would love to see these:

The Abyss
Aliens, Alien 3 Director's Cut
The Last of the Mohicans
Kingdom of Heaven
Office Space
Star Wars (any of them)
The Thin Red Line
True Lies (something with a new restored transfer preferrably)

Well, I hope Fox follows the precedent they set with DVD releases and includes Porky's in the first batch.

Nothing personal, but that is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in the theatre. And I can even tolerate Leo just fine. The scenery was the only positive thing I can say about it.

I'll have to echo Independence Day, I Robot, Predator, and Die Hard Trilogy. I would love to see (in HD) the scene where Bruce Willis jumps off the top of that building in DH1 with the whole thing blowing up behind him.

Oh yeah, add X-Men I & II to the list as well.

GO COLTS!!!

No offense taken DMAC. How about the "The Girl Next Door" Since it never made it out on D-VHS.

Just seeing the 20th Century Fox intro in 1080p will be enough for me. :-)
