Thanks for the link! Looks to be a great 4x Blu-Ray burner/player! Having said that, I have never had good luck with any LG products.

So you're paying $400+ so you can playback HD DVD in the same unit? While I like the idea, If I HAD to watch Universal films, I'd prefer to pay $200 instead

Well, with your $200 drive can you read BD, write BD or even write HD DVD? Gee, come on..

you can't write HD DVD with this, and I think the point was that at 1200 it is MUCH more expensive then other BD read/write drives. He can buy a BDE drive for BD read/write and the add on for much less

Doesn't the drive also write faster than previous BD drives? So you also get burns in half the time since it is a 4X drive instead of the old 2X drives.

The current GBW-H10N supports 4x speed too.
