The LG BD 390 is currently $350 at Amazon. I ordered one Saturday, it shipped on Sunday and was delivered today.

More often than not, Amazon's prices are near the low point. It makes sense to me to start there when you plan on buying a new piece of HT gear online. Amazon does not always have the lowest and best prices but I have bought more stuff from them than from every other Web vendor combined simply because Amazon's prices are the lowest and best in a great majority of cases.

Well Amazon.com says 6AVE has the BD80 for $285, and yet 6AVE.com lists it at $317. Does this normally happen?

I agree..along with their delivery times & they are overall very professional. I would say the same for Bestbuy but amazon is still king in my eyesa

Sometimes you get a better deal through Amazon with a vendor, sometimes better on the vendor site. Sometimes going through Amazon to the vendor there's an additional shipping charge, while on the vendor's site the price is listed higher but with "free" shipping.

In this case, I would guess it's the latter, but go ahead and check.

Newegg.com has the LG BD390 for $330 (and free shipping) with the promo code EMCLTLX44, through 6/15. Wouldn't be surprised if it sells out before then, though.

Be cautious about the 160GB Unchartered pack. We bought one and took it back. It didn't have the card readers and only 2 USB connectors (sux if you wanna play GH or RB). I presume it'll still work fine as a BD player though.

That's what it's supposed to have? You can get a cheap USB hub for less than 10 bucks to adjust for the lesser inputs.

I saw in the Costco store on DeBarr Rd. in Anchorage, AK yesterday that they have the Panasonic DMP-BD605 for $249 after a $30 instant rebate. Unlike the $50 discount available a month or so ago, this does not require a coupon. Since those coupons were only sent to "Executive" members, I missed out...sniff.

I'm sure most everyone on here knows this is a BD-60 + HDMI cable bundle packaged for Costco.

I know this is more than other deals currently being posted here, but with an included HDMI cable, some folks might be interested.

You can get 2.5% off through bing.com too (formerly live.com). This is a tempting deal.

I doubt I'd get the 51fd unless it were free.

Does anyone have the specs for the Magnavox NB500MGX? In particular, I'm wondering if it has optical audio output. The previous model did not.

Remember the Panasonic "Sleeping Beauty" promotion?

Well for anyone that sent in and never got the 2 movies, there is still hope!

Last week (to my surprise) Ratatouille and Nightmare before Christmas showed up after about 5 months of waiting.

The Magnavox NB500MGX has a rubbery plastic hood that probably costs 5 cents to make.

As of the beginning of April, I had never received mine (sent in November). I called and they told me to resubmit to the attention of the girl on the phone. I received the discs in May. Last week, I received another set.

Panasonic BD-80 now at $270.73 via Electronics Expo per Amazon.com. With $14.99 shipping the total is only $285.72. Best price so far? Are there any coupon codes available for these Electronics Expo?

Ended up being a "Samsung BD-P2500 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player" for $250.00 shipped. A semi decent deal on an outgoing player. I picked up an open box 2550 from bestbuy this past sunday for $190.

Thanks! I think Amazon "proper" lowered their price since I visited the site earlier today! And what do you know - I rechecked my cart and Electronics Expo has reduced their price down to $257.13 ($272.12 with shipping!)

Will these prices keep falling? Down to $250 shipped? (I'm hoping to get a similar deal to the approx. $290 with 4 free Blu-rays that I missed out on with the BD-55 last December!)

That's the problem..Some of these deals looks amazing & then after buying a week later you see the products have taken another big drop :P still generally good deals though!

Yeah, i guess that's one of those things you have to deal with. You can't hold off forever waiting for the best deal sometimes.
