Wow, it's hard to believe it has been four years since I finished this Home Theater. It still looks exactly the same and I love it just as much as when it was new. All the equipment has held up beautifully. Although I keep fighting the urge to buy a new 3D projector..lol I had one scare about six months ago when I got a roof leak that damaged the ceiling in the theater. Once the the roof was fixed along with the ceiling the stress and anxiety went away. Thanks for all the kind statements everyone has left. smile.gif

I hadn't seen this before. Can't say I've ever seen a HT room quite like yours! cool.gif

Seems like something that should be in a magazine or something smile.gif

Not the sort of theatre that I would build personally, but you did an awesome job and it looks great! I have really come to appreciate the different styles of home theatre that people build and I enjoy seeing the finished products. Congrats on your build.

Killer - takes me back to Iron Maiden "Powerslave" tour. 80's goodness.

Great job - the custom tables beside the sofa are a great touch.

To Hell with Georgia...

This absolutely amazing, and almost exactly what I want my theater to be.

Props.

I know this is an old thread, I came here today to start fixing Photobucket links....

Here is an interesting update.... I had sold the house with the Egyptian Tomb Theater in it... In fact, they bought the house because of the theater...
About 3 months after the house was sold I received a call from the new owner... She decided the house needed more light and was ripping out the entire theater as well as one of the rooms walls.
She asked if I wanted anything from it..

Kind of heartbreaking.....

I ended up with all The Egyptian decorations.... The contractor had damaged all the wall panels very badly.... They were all left behind..

It was a sad Day......

There should be a rule stating that one should never go back to a property after they sell it. It saves on heartache.

Even though it was an amazing room, I was more torn up over your Halloween "house" going away. http://eyecit.net/?page_id=34
