Can I ask how you stapled the fabric onto the walls? How did you hide the staples?
The easiest way to hide staples is to do it the same way a tailor/apholstery shop hides stitches.
No you can't necessarily turn your room inside out, but the idea is to start by stapling the back side of the fabric facing forward then folding the fabric over the staples you just installed and work your way around the room.

I did a quick google search because I was sure someone must have posted a youtube....

Another option that is a lot more work, but looks very professional is to build individual frames,
stretch the fabric over them and staple the back sides, then install the frames on the walls.

This thread might be old but it's so damn good. I was looking for wall ideas for my unfinished basement and this provided everything I needed (I can't afford finishing the whole basement with drywall right now). I already know exactly what I want to do with equipment, wiring, flooring, etc. I was just stuck on the walls. Thanks OP.

Did you ever take care of your ceilings?

Glad to Help!

I've only got two of the light fixtures mounted and wired in when I lost interest I guess
and have two more to go up before I can finish the ceiling off.

I've been a bit distracted lately lining up other projects
the biggest and most important...a Garage for my other toys ...finally!

I need to trench for power, gas (and cable) out to my concrete pad so I can start work on Man-Cave#2.
Once the Garage is finished maybe I'll get back MC#1 to complete the ceiling.
At least the most important part is done, the first 5 feet directly in front of the screen.
The rest directly over head or behind me I don't even notice once my lazy butt is planted in my seat

How has your painted concrete floor held up over the years? I'm not sure whether to go with paint or concrete stain.
