I'm going to be mounting a tv in my bedroom for viewing in bed. What height would you put it off the floor? I need to run cables for it now...

Thanks much!

great idea! I think this is an easy one to answer myself... it was late last night and i wasn't thinking too straight. I'll just sit on the bed and mount it at eye level.

Go a little higher than eye level. laying down is one thing, but sitting up is another, you don't want to look down...

Agreed. Looking down will lead to fatigue quickly.

I have mine mounted at 5 feet across the room. No neck problems at all, tv can easily be seen from a horizontal or vertical position (me). The distance to the tv is about 15 feet.
