I'd like to hear from people who own an audio/video receiver that performs component video switching (e.g., Denon AVR-5700/AVR-3300) who are using it for component video switching of an HDTV signal.

I'm curious if there is any signal loss you're experiencing due to the high bandwidth of HDTV. When responding please state which model audio/video receiver and which model HDTV STB you have.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to know also. I almost bought the Dennon 3300 for this feature and then read that it is not rated for HDTV throughput. But I am wondering if anyone has tried. I'd bet it works fine.

Burston, you're talking about the digital bandwidth. What's being discussed here would be switching an analog signal.

I'll try to remember to report back on the new Harman/Kardon AVR-7000 switching between a Panasonic TU-DST50 and a GI HDD-200 (who's arrival is 'imminent') to a Toshiba TW56X81.
