I like the (IKEA) coffee tables there. And you provide slippers to your guests? That's some great hospitality - but do the floors really get cold?

Nice stuff.

Thanks for sharing it looks great

Tell us more about,
dimensions, it looks pretty big?
Soundproofing considerations (complaining neighbors?)
How you heat/cool it
How about a picture of the finished building?, I'm curious about that multi level design and what you did with that lowered bit in the front.
Also I see you are in the UK so I'd be curious what you had to do to satisfy the local government, did you have to get permits and have it inspected etc?

i was doing it on a budget and could get that screen for £110 (119") so i went for it and can change it at a later date if needed it also hides the connectors for the 2 "height" speakers for future use

dimensions are 26ftx22ft with a 7ft porch

its soundproofed by wood/membrane/polystyrene/membrane/wood
I looked into pro sound proofing and it would have cost nearly as much as the building itself as it is now all you can hear is the occasional low rumble if you stand on the decking any further away than that and its all gone

its heated and cooled by a 12000btu air conditioning unit (only £99 from wickes!) and it does its job very well

outside pics in a bit!
we had the local planners check it all out and it was all ok so we didnt need to compromise on anything, which was nice!

Looks great man! Did you have someone build the building for you or DIY?
