Hello All,

Im putting together my Home Theatre and really need help.

heres what im thinkin of purchasing..

"52 Sony LCD

Sony Blu ray BDP-S570

Pioneer Elite SC27

SpeakerCraft AIM8 ONE ( OR TWO)

Def Tech Supercube 3 ( or 2)

5.1 set up..

Room size small/medium

I enjoy music and movies equal..

so i really need a receiver/speakers to accomodate both.

Not alot of electronic stores in my area...

Will this setup sound good?

If not..

Im all ears..

Really need help

In-ceiling speakers are not really ideal. If it is at all possible I would recommend floorstanding or stand mount. If neither of those are options in-wall speakers would still probably be much preferred over in-ceiling.

I think you might be overspending on your receiver. I would recommend looking for one that is closer t0 $600 and put that extra money towards your other gear.

you lost me at 52" tv...

To me, Home theater is BIG screen...

See my build for ideas (link below in my sig) I put in a 130 inch system for under $2,000. And it sounds amazing...

I agree with Free Enterprise. Size matters HUGELY when attempting a Theater quality visual experience in you home.

If it just has to be a smaller television I'd look into the Mits 82inch DLP television. We recently bought the 60in model and the picture performance is outstanding. Of course, @ 60 inches it's just a television so when we want that HT feeling we got to fire up the projector.

I'd skimp at first on the experience for your ears (sound system) and focus on the visual experience for your eyeballs which, after all, is the core of a visual experience.
