I am in the long process of designing a theater. Nothing is done yet, no budget, no dimensions, no building whatsoever. So what I would like is for you, my fellow theater people, to put links to your theaters to help me get some ideas. I know there is a gallery here but is is small and I also know that many of you don't have your pictures there.

Thanks

Nick

Nothing is built in on mine, but hey, might be worth a viewing.

It's in the signature.

Hi, Buddy I LOVE your HT !! The best one I have seen.

What are your room dimensions??

How large is your screen?? How high is the bottom of the screen image from the floor? And, how far back is the first row from the screen???

Thanks !!

Cain,

Thanks http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

The room is 13.5' wide, 20.5' deep, 8'10" ceilings. The screen is 96" x 54"; the bottom is roughly 3' from the floor (2' above stage floor). I will measure this later and if it is not accurate, I will repost the actual height. The first row is positioned so that the viewer's eyes are about 11' back from the screen.

Thanks Buddy.

My room is 18'2" by 19'2".

Thank you for the measurments.

Is 11' too close to the 96" wide screen, or is it OK?? Also, what projector do you have??

Final measurment question. How far are those chairs from the side walls, and the back wall??

Many thanks!!
