I was thinking about using the omnimount power 55 for my 55lw6500. I can't find many reviews on the product. Does anyone have any experience, pro's or con's, about this mount. Thanks.

Search for power55 over at remotecentral.com for some discussion of that unit.

If you don't have a strong need or it, it seems like something that will break down.

Can't you just make a mount out of used titanium hardware?

You can call one of your non-ortho colleagues to motorize it.

Maybe I could use some small used intracranial "coils" for the motor.
Appreciate the help. I'll check out that website.

Nah, aneurysm coils are not ferromagnetic.

Trying to share the display, perhaps between the kitchen and FR?

I'm considering a flip down tablet for the kitchen, myself.
