I Searched numerouse posts but couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a living room that doubles as my HT room and it is in bad need of some room treatments. Do i have to cover the complete front wall with room treament? This wouldn't look very good since it doubles as my main living room. How far apart do you place the room treatments on the side a back walls? Do i need to do the ceiling also? I listen to some music but I have put a lot of money into my HT equipment and want to get the most out of it. I plan on purchising acoustic panels from Acoustimac. Do i need 1" or 2" thick pannels?

Take a look in the Dedicated Theater Forum - there is a sticky thread called "Acoustical Treatment Master Thread". There is a lot of good information there
