I've been searching for a while but have not come up with anyone that has mounted a flat screen on a bedford stone wall. I've seen a bunch of people mount them on a flat brick wall. The problem with the bedford stone is the stone is irregular which makes mounting it more difficult.

I think I have found a way to mount it but my main concern is weight. I have a 50' KURO and a monoprice swing out mount. I love this TV and have nightmares of coming out and finding it in the living room floor.

What I am thinking about doing is using 3/4 boxed tubing and making a "H" beam to cover many of the large stones to help distribute the weight out. Then attach the monoprice mount to the middle of the "H" beam. There would be two horizontal bars connecting each vertical beam on the sides.

If anyone has mounted a TC on a bedford stone wall please let me know.

Thanks!

J

I finished it today and I am very happy with it. I went a little over kill on it but I don't want the Kuro on the floor. I swung the mount all the way out and I did a few pull ups on it. Rock solid.

I will posts some pics later.
