So the wife finally gave me the approval to finish my basement into my Man Room.

The room in nothing great in size and has a lot of additional walls for HVAC systems, etc - 16 feet wide by 22 ft long. Ceiling height is at an awful measurement of 7 feet. I will have to make sure to have short friends or give my tall friends hard hats.

Equipmet List

Samsung 55" LED TV
Samsung Blu-Ray
Pioneer VSX-1021K
Xbox 360
Polk Speakers
Harmony 900
SquareConnet iPhone/iPad control (Z-wave only, thank you Harmony for not including Z-wave in the 900)
Verizon FiOS Cable Box
SiliconDust 3-Tuner Network Cable Card (Adds TV to iPad and the Xbox 360 steaming from my office media center)

The project has seem to go off without any issues. Wire runs were straight and every air pocket was filled in with insulation. New baseemnt windows installed and the wife decide my TV location beside the equipment closet was not a good idea.

She suggested I place the TV in the middle of my display case. Thought about it and said why not. I was concerned with 45 foot HDMI Cable runs but what the heck.

Cable run on the picture below was

2- 45 foot HDMI (Thank you Monoprice)
Speaker cable (Center, Left and Right)
4 - Cat5e (Just never now)

Nice room you got there. Like the setup with the tv surrounded by the memorobelia.

And I HATE painting too.
