Hi All

I am doing a new construction. Given our space constraints and a few other factors, we are looking at having a Flat Screen TV over the Fire place design. We do not want to have the TV too high. Would like the base of the TV (likely 65") to be 3.5" to 4" about the ground, with an inwall speakers for L/R and C (C=above the TV ?).

Live in CA, so FP has mostly decorative value. So, interested in a contemporary looking FP. The best solution that I have seen so for is from Ortal (http://www.ortal-heat-usa.com/balance-flue/front-only/clear-150/) - love the looks but too expensive.

Any good recommendation for a fire place, especially those who have successfully installed such a configuration. Any gotchas to be aware of ?

One minor typo: meant to say 3.5' - 4' (not 3.5"-4").

We are also interested in doing something similar. Were you able to get the TV low enough? We are running into issues because of the required clearances above the fireplace. Would welcome hearing about your experiences and learnings. Thanks!
