Hi
I am a true novice and I am trying to set up this home cinema system for the first time and having problems setting it all up .... I wonder if anyone can help:

I have purchased the VSX 322-k Home cinema system.
I have an LG HD flat screen, Phillips DVD player and a satellite receiver all connected to the unit via HDMI Cables.

When I switch to the TV on the Pioneer remote, my TV informs me there is no signal. If I switch to the DVD or the satellite the tv comes to life and displays what ever is showing on those devices.

But if I switch from one device like the DVD to DVR and then back again, the unit seems to forget the DVD or the DVR and stops displaying what it has displayed only a moment ago and I have a message on the TV of no signal. In order to correct it I have to switch ports on the HDMI. Surely this is not right?!

Also there are no instructions at all how to control the TV or DVD or any other device with the pioneer remote. Surely there should be some kind of set up? The manual only says that you plug the devices in and then they should work.. pioneer.pdf 3944k .pdf file

Any help would be much appreciated. smile.gif

Did you set up both your LG and the 322 to use the connected HDMI in ARC mode?
