I'm a noob here, and i need all the help i can get biggrin.gif. I'm doing a home theater but don't know from where to begin. Here is the home theater room and dimensions of where the projector is going to be placed:

I started looking at projectors and the best one i've found was the "epson 5020". I don't know whats the biggest screen i can get with those dimensions and this projector, and whether its possible to do the curved projector screen. And also what kind of material should i use for the projector screen. The setup will be used for movies and sports only.

So to organize my questions in points:

1.What kind of projector?
2.Size of screen?
3.Flat or curved screen (angle of the curve?)
5.Screen material?
4.What kind of speakers ?

sorry for all the questions. Any input would be great, thanks.

Do you have any pictures of the full room.

What are the room dimensions?

1) The Epson 5020 is an excellent LCD projector, but it needs to work with your throw distance and screen size.

2) Size of screen is based on your seating distance from screen.

3) I know nothing about curved screens

4) I'll pass. I'm a DIY screen guy

5) Too many options to list. First decide on what type(towers, bookshelf, satellites)? Budget? 5.1 or 7.1 system?
