Hello folks..

I have a 9.2 Home Theater Setup that I recently completed, along with a major renovation of my home. I was fortunate to have everything ripped back to the studs, and for this reason I ran all the cables required to run the home theater [amongst other things] to the island in the kitchen. I use IR to control all devices in the home.
I am now at the stage where I need to get ventilation in this cabinet.

Here are some images..

This image is the cabinet directly beside the home theater cabinet.

This is the actual cabinet. I have access from the rear. I can also get underneath the cabinet.

This is the rear.

I've already got on order a custom rack with perforated shelving in the meantime.
I was thinking about either....

a) adding a fan to the rear door to bring in cool air, and adding a fan to the left interior wall, pulling warm air out and into the adjacent cabinet which has the plumbing.

b) adding a couple of fans to the bottom, which would drop into the base of the island. These would blow air directly up, and would also allow cooler air to be snagged from the basement should I so desire. Maintaining my idea about the fan taking warm air out and into the adjacent cabiet.

I've only got one shot at this, so I'm just looking for some suggestions. Thank you.

Not sure what the wow was for. I would not do the venting into the side cabinet, you are only delaying the heat build up not solving it. I'd add a vent at the bottom and a fan venting at the top to draw out the heat
