I agree. Your speakers are bigger than your TV, for goodness sakes !!

It depends on whether or not those 2 things with the lights can be moved.

Yea not gonna happen. The WAF takes presidence here....you must be single? I was thinking of getting a 65" sony when the price comes down. Tried the 70" vizio that was onsale at sams club; too big took over the room. Plus picture wasnt that good and had some pretty big clouds on the screen during dark scenes that where very annoying and distracting. So back it went and the sony hx800 55" back on the wall....next led lcd either sony or sharp I think.

Those two things are called panel boxes.
Im trying to combine home theater with interior design so we both are happy . Have to compromise; I think they are sharp.

Why not a projector with an elcetric screen you can retract during non WA times? Best of both worlds, big screen and outa the way. Would have to make the room a little darker though:)

WAF = Wife Acceptance Factor, not girlfriend...

Do it now while you still can! Before it's too late! biggrin.gif

Not my taste in decor (a nicer way of me saying there's too much crap on the walls), but good looking setting up nevertheless.

Ah, the times in which we live. I remember my 57 inch RPTV cost $5,500 and was huge. Now, apparently, it's too small. It's happened to me, too. I put in a 92 screen and I wish I could've gone bigger (couldn't due to projector location limitations). In my living room, I watch a 42 inch screen from probably 15 feet away.

How much space between the "panel boxes?" They also look like they could be slid outward biggrin.gif

Space looks good though. That is the type of picture I showed to increase my WAF. At least to get the ball rolling . ..
