I'm quite new to scene. I've acquired an old Definitive Technology set - BP2000TL's, CLR2000, and UIW-BPs. Came with an wimpy 5.1 Pioneer VSK-520 receiver. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/AV-Receivers/Pioneer+Receivers/VSX-520-K

Honestly, i'm not a "feature" oriented kinda guy. I just want more decibels. The research i've done suggested a Denon 1913 is a respectable receiver ... but what sort of "power" upgrade would I really be getting?

Sorry for the newb questions. Thanks.

Forgot to mention - I'm only going to be using 5.1. Would a Denon E300 be a better choice?
