Are "Level Mount by Elexa" branded TV mounts any good? - AVS Forum

I saw this one marked down to $60 at a local store that is closing. The mount is an "adjustable fixed or tilt" mount for flat panels up to 85" and 200lbs. It's heavy and looks sturdy, but I've never heard of this brand. Is it reputable?

Contrary to what some around here would have you believe TV mounts aren't 'rocket surgery' (although many are priced that way). That said, I usually recommend MonoPrice when asked. Plenty of stuff about that brand on Google. wink.gif


PS: Looking at those Google hits it appears to be a UK product. Are you perhaps in the UK?

I would agree that for most fixed wall mounts, any old cheap mount will be fine, if installed securely to solid wood studs. But, when one has needs for articulating, pivoting, or other specialty mounts, the higher price for name brand is justified. There are large quality differences.
