Dear AVS Members,

Can you tell me what kind of design services are available for Media Room design - I have heard of Erskine-Group. Does AVS have a design service?

1.) What do you get as a part of design service - Room design, Sound treatment, color scheme etc?

2.) Once we get the design, is it simple enough to give to any contractor to do (I'm DYI but not in construction etc.) or do we need specialized contractors? I'm in Houston if that matters.

3.) What price range does the basic service fall in?

I have a limited budget but instead of doing all at once, I'm thinking of phasing out the design, remodeling (if needed) and then purchasing the equipment.

Thanks.
