Hey everyone. I'm looking for ideas for mounting a TV in this room :

Mantle is too high for comfortable viewing. I've seen the Down and Out mounting which so far appears to be the best option. Based on the viewing wall, does anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks - Sean

I'm personally a big fan of above the mantle. And you don't have a lot of options here, if that's the only place to put the TV.

How about in the corner where that armoire lookin' thing is? Or on the wall that the photo-left?

Thanks Nick... the corner mount might be an option. I saw some interesting options here ($$$$) : http://www.inca-tvlifts.com/ .

I've seen at least a couple threads in the last 6 months discussing corner mounts.

Search AVS for "corner mount" in quotes.

Hello,

It seems you already have the best option. I am not sure if what you are considering is a articulating mount that would allow to move the TV slightly away from the wall and adjust it up and down to your liking. Otherwise, placing the TV to a different location and reshuffling the room furniture might also be another options depending if the family can live with it rolleyes.gif

Good luck!

What do the other walls look like?
