I need the educated advice and insight of the member's here to determine which of these 2 panels is guaranteed to give me the best viewing experience. This TV will be solely dedicated to Blu-Ray, upscaled DVDs, and non-HD video content on my USB thumb drive. The room that I will be installing this in will have no direct light on the TV itself. Viewing angles will not always be straight on, and will vary up to 45* from direct center. Viewing distance will vary between 5 - 10 feet.

The Panels;

LG's LM3400 42" 1080p LED,

Panasonic's TC-P42X60 42-Inch 720p Plasma,
