I'm sure some of you know Polk Audio has a sale going on now and they've got their SurroundBar 9000 IHT going for $400.
Which brings me to my question - I've been debating how I can improve the audio in "living room" area. It has lofted ceilings etc, so I can't get an actual 5.1 system installed. I tend to watch some TV down there and the audio quality of my girlfriends TV is so horrible that it's distracting.
For the room that you see below, would you suggest a 3.1 system (right, left, center, sub) or the SurroundBar 9000 IHT. I'd like to stay under $500 for all. I do have a receiver that I can use.
