Hi there,

I am intended to buy a tv mount which its arm can be extended by buying another unit and using the arm pieces to be added to the 1st unit:

The nice thing with this model that the arm pieces are modular. I mean you can remove the 2 arm pieces or put one or put two or even more. However the company does not guarantee that it will holds the TV if I put 3 or more arm pieces.

The maximum weight that can be hold with this unit is 25 kg if there is 2 arm pieces (~40 cm arm length from the wall).

My question: If my Tv is 40 inch LED and weights just 10 Kg. Can I extend the length of the arm twice? Since the recommended weight is up to 25 Kg with 40 cm, does that mean with 80 cm arm length I can go up to 12.5 Kg (half the max. weight) without any problem?

I do not know where to ask and it is not easy to get an expert answer. Appreciate any help!

Many thanks

The manufacture is the only one that can answer that question.
