Hi Folks. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for picking out a media cabinet. The TV will be wall mounted so actually HOLDING a TV isn't an issue. I was wondering what folks who don't have to worry about the size of their TV typically select and why. The TV is a 65 inch... will selecting a media cabinet that's too narrow look awkward?

The largest/deepest component I have to worry about is the receiver which runs about 14 inches deep.

Thoughts?

If I were putting a TV on the wall, I would hide the media cabinet in a nearby closet or a corner, not stick it under the TV. Just me.

appreciate the reply but that's not what I'm going for. Any suggestions for what I'm actually asking about?

I used ikea BESTA because it was cheap. I think similar to TV width looks best. Also, what about speakers? If wide, then bookshelf and center speaker can be placed on it, narrow, and floorstanders can go beside it.
