Not sure if this is the correct thread. Please move if not as I could not find anything dedicated to mounts or the like. smile.gif

I am going to be installing the Optoma HD131xe in a bonus room with an 8 ft ceiling. I will be projecting onto a 100in screen that will be mounted over a window. Since I have to mount over the window, the top screen edge has to be just shy of 12 inches from the ceiling as the top of the window is 12 inches from the ceiling. Since the PJ will need an 8 inch offset, I need a mount that is relatively flush and not a 7 or 8 inch drop. I would also like a bit of vertical adjustment if that is possible in the event I dont mount the screen perfectly. Any recommendations? Prefer to not break the bank on a mount.

Thanks!
Quinn

I recommend the Chief mounts... http://www.chiefmfg.com/Mount-Finder/OPTOMA/HD131XE

You can flush mount the RPA series mounts to limit the drop or you might be able to use a mini series with a small pipe nipple if you need just a little bit of drop.

Thanks. Looks like the RPAU could work just about perfectly.
