Recently moved in to a home that has a projector mounted on the ceiling.  Lamp is dead so i ordered a new one online but can not seem to find the key to dismounting the projector.  Everything I am reading and seeing says the lamp is on the bottom of the projector, since its mounted to the ceiling, its upside down and can not access the lamp.  Any advice on where to look in order to figure out how to dismount the projector?

Problem is, you gave us nothing to work with here. Brand of projector? Model #? Any labels on the mount? How about a picture or two?

Makes you wonder how a lamp was ordered when details are of no concern.

This will sound sarcastic, but its not. Get a ladder, flashlight and a camera. Use that to see if there is a disconnect for the mount that you can't otherwise see. The camera can get closer and in tighter spaces to help with reconisance. Otherwise you can post the pic here so we can perhaps identify the mount and how to release the PJ.

Warning: I make a lot of mistakes but occasionally I learn from them!
