Will post better photos after they are wall mounted and faced with brushed aluminum.

Very cool idea. Did you have to scuff the acrylic or was it already a simi transparent ? It results in a very cool look

I couldn't find opaque acrylic so I bought some krylon glass frosting spray initially but didn't use it. The acrylic sheet came with white plastic protective coating on each side. I removed the top layer that the bottles would most likely scuff anyway and left the bottom layer on (inside the shelf cavity) to diffuse the led's. I'm very happy with the results.

Very nice. Do you have any photos of the light strips in the box or how you're feeding power into them?

Is it solipsistic in here, or is it just me?

I'm just using an led strip light kit from Amazon. The lights have adhesive backing and I placed them in the center of the shelf cavity.

The lights come with their own power supply. Just need an outlet to plug into, which i installed before hanging my cabinets.

They also come with an IR remote and sensor which you can see under the corner of the cabinet.

Very nice!

I wonder do they make led light stips that have a battery pack of some sorts so you don't have to have them plugged in to an outlet?

Most of the led strip kits like the one above are dimmable and come with a remote.

I've ordered many kits and strips from barlighting.com and they have been great with service shipping and product.
