My local stores do not carry Monster Video 3 component cables. However they do carry the Monster Video 2 cables. I wanted 75 ohm cabling so I went to Radio Shack and
bought 3, 6 foot RG-6, cables with GOLD F connectors. I also bought GOLD F connector to RCA adapters to put on the ends of the RG-6. I'm not sure if the F connectors and
the RCA adapters are 75 ohms but I know RG-6 is supposed to be. So my question is: Since these cables are 75 ohms I should get better quality than the Monster Video 2
but do I get as good of quality as the Monster Video 3?

HTPC. Onkyo 636, Polk audio speakers and Klipsch sub. KHO-7 Outdoor speakers. Homeseer homecontrol over Z-wave.

Monster rates the wire in good , better, and best with many levels in each category.
Monster Video 2 is a step lower than Monster Video 3. You will not be able to achieve the Monster video 3 level with regular RG-6 and adaptors. There are alot of factors involved in this process of measuring 75 ohms. You best bet is not to use any adaptors and if your dealer doesn't sell Monster video 3 I believe Crutichfield does. Seems like half their catalog is Sony and Monster.
