Has anyone thought about adding a column in each forum synopsis for "Original Posting Date/Time"? Currently, there is "Last Post" which is very useful. However, there are times, especially when forums are busy, that knowing which threads I've already seen before would be helpful!
This is one great Forum, no question. One other nice feature I've seen elsewhere is a counter, so you know how many people have read, but not necessarily responded to the particular post.
Not sure if you read the original msg in this thread, would still appreciate an answer to that one.
Also, the Tivo color section *rocks*. Any chance of changing the rest of AvScience? I know there has been a thread recently regarding a color change which you vehemetly said would not change, but I would like you to reconsider (especially given how much better the Tivo section is now compared to all other sections -- IMHO of course)
How about increasing the size of the "Your Reply" window for posts? The size is a bit small and larger posts, or posts with embedded HTML/UBB are a bit hard to edit.
Also, Should these suggestions be emailed rather than posted?
The time is used to keep track of new messges posted from your last visit. Thus the time stamp if for added posts. I also have no counter for number of times a post has been read....thus I can not display information I do not have.
The size of the reply box is such that it will fit many types of system screens...from PC's to WebTv's.
As Alan stated...the colors will not be changing. TiVo is paying for the color change in that section to make it look more like the TiVo site because they will be using the AVS Forum for customer comments and what have you.

David, you may have misunderstood my column request, it was *in addition to* the existing column, useful for being able to tell *new* topic, not just topics that have been added to lately.
