AV Science/AVS Forum has teamed with JBL to bring you live shots from the JBL booth at CEDIA 2000.

What will you see? Good question...We really don't know. That this point I would guess anyone coming by the JBL booth or sitting at the computer.

More or less this is the first time this has been done and we hope to use it as a spring board for next years show with live streaming interviews. In any case...talk a look...you never know who or what you will see.

If you see David or Brenda, make a note of it in the General Area on the date and time. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyway...this is just something different. Enjoy.

Great idea for those of us who cann't make it this year. Maybe next year Cedia cam 2001 could go mobil, attached to a hat or something like the ones used in sports.

Man. I just finely got the webcams set up and I just got back to my hotel room. Now I find that someone messed with them and one is now pointing at the ground!!! Grrrrr...Good thing I get to go in before the general public tomorrow morning. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hope you all enjoy this little treat. Just something different.

Some people don't like the world staring at them. I would likely think very hard about giving that camera a good hard smack myself. I ultimately wouldn't, but I probably would not sit in front of any computer employing it.

I went back and edited this measage on order to make sure folks weren't thinking that I am being a bit harsh. I am just saying, perhaps a user did not like the idea of being stared at? I went and looked at the cam site.....

Nope...Cameras are mounted on the rigging and not on the computer. Thus it is not like that at all. Just shots of happy people for the most part. It is fun just bring it to you all like this. Something different.

KBK: Not all of us feverishly pick our noses' while sitting at a computer. (I understand your shame and wanting to strike out at the camera.) http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

David: Not many people strolling around at 6:00 am. Tried setting up a video capture program so I could "slide show" (2 sec.@ 4X a minute X 1 hr. played back in480 sec's) but the resourses needed broke my bank. Some puter nerd I am, eh?

Due to wifes birthday and a funeral in New York we (I) cant be there. Thanks for the web cam as a vicarious substitue. jdb

I WAS NOT!

I was merely exposing some previously unused grey matter....apparently it is gold in color...
