Alright so I have a 35ft hdmi/m1 cable to connect my projector to my dvd player, this cable is quite hefty and I'm trying to figure out which the best way to mount it on the wall, I'm not really concerned with concealing the wire @ all -- I actually tryed taping it at first but after a night the tape wasn't strong enough. I'm guessing some sort of staple thats large enough to fit the wire in? What have you guys done?

Home Depot or Radio Shack....

They carry various types of wire clips. Some of them nail into the wall, some use double sided tape.....

Zip ties also work well

I just did the exact same thing (running a hefty HDMI cable along the wall/ceiling junction to my projector). My cable is a 24AWG from monoprice, about as thick as my ring finger.

I used plastic cable clamps. I found them at Home Depot in the section where they sell the wire staples.

It's basically a pre-curved plastic strap with a hole ready to accept a nail/screw. You open up the strap to wrap it around the cable, then close it back together and secure it to the wall/ceiling with a nail/screw. I used plain ol' drywall screws.

Looks like this:

I just got the same HDMI cable from Monoprice too. Damn that thing is thick! I plan on running it in wall up to the projector, but I'm wondering if the thing will stay in the projector. I am exiting the wall so it will be horizontal.

Duct tape holds wiring much better than regular tape -- and is plenum rated! (it being used in air ducts and all)
