Any I hear you guys with people being amazed, I only have a living room setup with a 110" screen a couple of my friends that have come over absolutely love it and say it's better than the move theater. It's funny since I just started but have the projector and some couches up for now, so I can't even imagine the response you guys get with your beautiful theaters!

As promised pics. Nothing fancy, just clean and simple lines. I just finished up the side panels on the screen wall and still have to make the top piece

I meant it was time to leave the nest and start your very own build thread ... not piggy back on the build threads of others!

You can do it!

I had a build thread a year ago, when I built it. Don't see the need to start another one. Maybe I wrong though.

What stand is that you are using for the center channel?

Are you referring to me?

If so, it's a stand fabricated by me. Since the CC390 is a huge center weighing in at over 50lbs (if memory serves me) and being about as long as a tower speaker, no stand that I found, that I liked at least, would work. I used 4x4 solid oak posts cut at a 10 degree angle on the top, and top and bottom plates of solid oak. It weighs a ton too, but does not rattle or move at all for that fact.

Thanks Woolly!

I really need to get down there with a camera, because:

The pool table is finished,
The wife has sprinkled around some decorating touches and a few wall hangings,
I found two matching curtain panels and added them to the theater entry

More Photos; as requested by Rose and Good Cat

Some of these may seem redundant, but they do show some decorating additions by "Mrs. Cuz". They are displayed in walk thru order.

This is the first item that I have a few occasional second thoughts:
The bottom of the steps, grand entrance is not so grand.

For the initial planning I agonized over how to utilize this bump out at the bottom of the steps (under my front door)?
-A grand entrance (ticket window /snack bar) -OR-
-Mantain maximum convenience for access to the 2nd fridg in our house. As you can see convenience won out...

Turn to the right and you are in the "pub" room.
Wish I could have got a better shot of the under cabinet lighting. It really adds a nice effect, especially for the martini sign

And the Michael Jordan "last shot" photo (just before his first retirement)

And as you can see below someone is keeping score, and Mr C is losing badly

Now into the theater room (new addition the matching theater drapes)

For the theater room we added some overflow seating for kids, two of these chairs:

And the pool table is now in service:

Started Populating the bookcase with "stuff" my modest German Beerr Stein collection

And lastly the theater exit -the burgundy colors really do match (flash artifact):

Thanks,

Two more things I'm hoping to knock out before company shows up on Xmas eve:

1) Install the Wii - need to finish the "below screen mount" for the sensor bar
2) Need to cobble up a protective surround that can be slipped over and around the in-wall dart cabinet (to protect the painted wall from those errant shots)

And watch at least another feature movie this weekend. I'm thinking Public Enemy might be good? (not sure of the rating/violence factor for my 14 yr. old)

Queen (all),

Thanks. I'll bet if I were to sell all of our Xmas "knick-knacks": I could start my own Christmas store, retire and buy some really nice toys like Shawn.

Yesterday we got the Wii moved to the HT room, started working on the dart board surround, and then we watched "Angels & Demons last night. (a nice light holiday religious movie )
