We started this project last winter. 2 of the walls were block we dry locked them and then insulated and drywalled. Never did anything like that before. This was all a learning experience. My husband and I did all the work ourselves.http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/attac...1&d=1203710121This wall is where most of the plumbing and kitchen area is going.
We also sealed the floor with waterproofing. Didn't get any pictures before the drywall went up, but this is the finished product.http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/attac...1&d=1203715245 We had a mess to work around. The wall was easy a 3 step process. The bad thing is if you mess up you can't go back and correct it. We put in the cedar beam to divide the bar from the game room. We painted the ceiling tiles and the grids for the drop ceiling. Attachment 102792

We did the drywall ourselves, the we painted using a 3 step brush on method. The only thing is if you mess up you cant go back and correct. We have the ceiling finished we took all the grids and painted them black.Attachment 103123

What a mess we had I would recommend that if you don't know how to drywall you cover everything the dust will be everywhere. Attachment 103124

upload your images to a free hosting site like photobucket or flickr. then grab the url for the picture. then use the image icon to place image tags around the url so the pics show up in the post.

later.

aham23 - Where does one go to get the Photobucket site? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks.

two free photo hosting sites. it allows you to upload the pics to the net, then grab the url so you can post pics directly into any forum thread/post.
