Epic bump: Looks like U-571 was released in Japan by Gaga Communications: http://www.gaga.co.jp/dvd_blu-ray/no...ay/i0000000021
All their releases uses high bitrate AVC and TrueHD, so if it's not DNR'd it will most likely be the best version.

I don't own it, but the Japanese release is open-matte and not OAR.

I know this thread is old, but I confirmed today that the DTS-MA audio from the Blu-Ray can be used with the Video from the HD-DVD. The alignment is perfect. The only difference between the two is the blue PG-13 rating screen at the end of the Blu-Ray that's not on the HD-DVD.

PS: I do find it ironic that the VC-1 stream is 3.2GB is smaller on the Blu-Ray than the one on the HD-DVD.
