Indiana Jones on Blu-Ray: “Soon.” No date, but he did accept that soon for Spielberg and soon for Lucas weren’t exactly the same thing.

You can't see it right now, but I'm doing my happy dance. If Spielberg means it when he says no more digital tampering on *ANY* future releases, then that means I can breath a sign of relief over Indy, JP, ET, Jaws, etc.

Well, Mr. Spielberg has done his mitzvot for the decade.

My guess is April-May or next Fall.
But Ive been wrong before.

The proper setting for sharpness is always0.
Also my Oppo BDP-103D is region free.
That makes me awesome.

Can someone post the link from this forum that showed those amazing HDTV screencaps from the remastered Raiders? I'm assuming it was already done by laserpacific?

You gotta wonder though... Lucas and Spielberg are very good friends...

Steven: Hey buddy how have you been?
George: well we're getting Star Wars ready for the Blu release, exciting time!
S: great! so have you finally come to your senses about the original trilogy?
G: oh man no, not you!
S: well, I'm sure a lot of people, and I mean a LOT, would be very pleased to get that one on blu-ray!
G: but these movies suck compared to 2011 standards! I need to keep them up-to-date you know, todays audience is different
S: it woud still make sense to not touch the originals, you made history here buddy
G: I don't care about history, I care about my vision!
S: well get a new pair of glasses then cause your 2011 vision ain't that bright my friend
G: p-ss off
S: right back at ya
G: so how about this 5th Indy, you think Harrison can still do it?
S: sure he can! ...but hurry though
G: *muffled laughter*
pause
(both laughing now)
G: well in any case I've already briefed ILM, they're gonna CGI him and make him look younger
S:let me check my schedule again I'll call you back!

...okay I'm off to work!

Nope, always September or October.
November only applied to the DVD releases of Episode II and III.
Which don't count.

It's always been September.
