I've been watching the HK edition of Black Mask a lot lately. Probably cos it's one of my faves and it's uncut now with original audio.

I watch what they expect me to be watching, espicially the ones that call me crazy or tell me that I fantasize about films. I do this just to through them off so that I might have some personal time myself not worrying whether are checking some review, planning their next insult, etc. Otherwise, I don't share what I 'm watching.

One more vote for Star Trek as well, great replay value. Also, add Serenity to the list!

I really don't do as much repeat viewing with blu's as I did with dvd's or especially vhs tapes. Watching blu's is a much more immersive experience; there is tons more to see and hear in each movie.

With dvd and vhs, watching on small-ish tv's, you invariably miss a lot. The dialogue's often muddy, you can't make out fine details in the picture, and as a result, there are constant gaps in your understanding of what's being presented.

These 'inferior' formats don't lessen the joy of film watching; 'satisfaction' or honky tonk women still sounded glorious on AM radio, didn't they? You don't really need a lyric sheet for jumpin' jack flash. But they often present the occasion to return to a certain point in a movie for clarification.

With blu, you're much closer to the 'limit' of getting it all. It's just richer and more satisfying.

Salvation is one of the better Terminator flicks IMO, though I enjoy them all (and wish the T2 BD looked a lot better than it currently does). Only watched the movie a couple time so far though, so it doesn't quite make my most watched list (yet?).

I only own a few doz. BDs, but most watched (by far) is Twister with B. Paxton, H. Hunt, J. Gertz and a very young P. S. Hoffman. Other well-watched discs so far include: Blazing Saddles, Carlito's Way, Excalibur, Forbidden Planet, Jason & the Argonauts, Legend (DC), Logan's Run, Stargate (2009 15th Ann. Ed.), and Tron Legacy. They aren't all perfect xfers, but most are pretty ok, and no qualms about recommending any of em.
