Much of the time; it does look worse on some difficult to compress parts since the total Vudu stream is less than half the bitrate of Warner's VC-1 track. If you don't see the difference in the first shot then there's no reason to look at the rest.
I'm not an audiophile so my mileage will indeed vary. Of course, I have the Paramount DC anyhow.
