To me it's really because his facial expressions look stiff at times. The CGI is convincing but not totally so. Even if it was the uncanny valley effect is probably going on which isn't letting me be fair about the effect. I'm still going to think it's fake looking because I understand it's not really him. Regardless it's a pretty convincing application and I'm sure we're going to start to see this done more and more. Not sure if that's a totally good thing though lol.
