Well, it's the big 3 day Easter weekend, so we are kicking it off the right way and spending Thursday night start building the most awesome Lego kit ever, the huge Death Star.
Takes 20 or so hours, goal is be done by Monday 5 hrs a day. 3,803 pieces.

Is it doable? Of course we have Star Wars IV on in the family room HDTV while building this, so geeky cool!
Each day a different movie from the complete Blu-Ray collection.

Just starting ....................................................................... 90 minutes into it.

Anyone have idea if coming up Star Wars Blu ray movies each film in separate package?
I don’t like the packaging right now, they releasing each of three or six films in one package, look very cheap.
And thank you for answering.

I don't think they'll release individual movies. The closest you're most likely to get are the 3 movie trilogy releases. You can always buy individual cases and use custom covers as those (custom covers) have been around since the 1st release. I'm not sure why you think it looks cheap, but it's not (at least the original 6 movie release package).

Err you mean the new Disney ones? I see no mention of a upcoming release of the old ones.

Star Wars Rebels: Season 1 is coming out in September however. Have no idea if it is as good as Clone Wars...

I have finally watched my complete Star Wars blu-ray boxset. Wow - although I detest the packaging, the movie presentations and extras were outstanding.

I just don't care for the transfers of the original films. Not just because they are the SE variety, but they are too overly processed looking to me and the color timing just seems off in various ways. They are 11 year-old scans and technology has improved a lot since then. When I look at proper, newer remasters from that era, they look so much better and more film-like. I realize Lucas did change the color timing from the unaltered versions, but it seemed like it was a rushed job despite they did improve upon the DVDs. For example, skin tones take on a weird orange-reddish look at times especially in A New Hope and Jedi. Empire probably looks the best although there is a blue push to it. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't even think the 1997 SE versions released to the theaters had this issue.

When the complete Star Wars Saga was released on BD, I realized that I had already watched episodes 4|5|6 on VHS and all 6 movies on DVD so many times that I no longer watch any of the movies except peripherally, rather I mostly just listen to the soundtracks! So I made a decision to not purchase the Saga on BD, a decision which it seems likely I will reverse only if the BDs are re-released with a favorably reviewed immersive audio soundtrack remaster (either Dolby Atmos or DTS:X).

You're not wrong. The theatrical 97SE's had colors very, very close to the original films (and I'm not talking about old home video releases, but good quality Technicolor and low-fade 35mm prints), although that got mucked around with a little in the 97SE home video releases. The massive color shifts you're talking about were made for the 2004 versions, and have been with us, if not distorted even more, ever since.

I have purchased and seen these films on VHS tape, laser disc (episodes 4, 5 & 6 only, of course), DVD and now BD (all 6 episodes).
I am very thankful that I did not get hung up on any of the stuff being discussed immediately above and simply enjoyed seeing/hearing these films again in glorious HD & lossless audio on my home theater system.
My only gripe with the BD set was swapping out the original Darth Vader maskless face for a young Anakin face in the closing scenes of "Return of the Jedi". The logic for doing that escapes me. But I can live with it. . .

Well the 1997 SEs were projected in theater from a film print right? That would mute the colors a bit since strong saturation is digitally induced.

No, it's more than that. There was an overall color shift starting with the 04SE's. The 97SE's of Empire and Jedi are pretty much the same on home video (VHS/Laserdisc) as they were in the theatre (Star Wars got messed up somehow), so you can see the difference there. The difference between 97SE colors and 04SE colors is striking--somebody clearly decided that the colors needed significant alterations (in addition to all the other things they thought needed alterations)--it's not French Connection big, but it's pretty big. The 11SE are pretty much the same as the 04SE colors. God, I hate having to use this arcane nomenclature to talk about so many different versions.

I'm refereeing to: 3 or 6 big movies put in one package. Also the box may tear apart because of frequent using (since all movies in one package you have to open it every time to watch each movie). This happened to me for Alien Anthology DVD.

^^^ you have options (custom cases and covers) if you don't like the original packaging. Then you can put whatever cover you want on them. For me, the packaging is the least of my worries unless it damages the discs. I caste more about what's on the discs. Packaging would not stop me from buying a Blu-Ray so I don't see it as a compromise at all.
