Yes, there are some weird, really warm looking flesh tones in some parts of the movie - especially the first half hour or so. The DNR seems worst there too.

Sounds about right, I only watched about 15 min to check it out and then checked American Wedding which did not have the overly warm tones but seemed softer in general.

American Wedding is soft and a bit murky looking, but it looks pretty film-like and a step above the first two movies.
