I'll have a review up for this one later in the week, and yes, the artifacting is really heavy at times. The color is also too saturated, one of those things that seems so common to older masters in an effort to make it pop. Still a recommend for fans.

Looking good to me in those caps. No overbaked contrast, blown out whites, halos, EE, DNR, etc and I see actual grain. Solid looking for the era. Never owned this one in any form, but even at $9.99 I would've skipped it had they dumped out a crummy looking disc. Definitely picking it up now!

Not claiming all of the caps look like the bee's knees but quite a few look great. Hope there is no frozen film grain.

Would not be surprised if LoinsGate came out with a anniversary edition a couple of years from now with a new encode.
