I am SO getting this. Yes, I agree, this movie really has something going for it; great dialog/acting, while it's set in a sci-fi environment. Special FX??? don't care cool.gif

It's a decent sci-fi remake of "Hell In The Pacific." Lee Marvin and Toshirô Mifune (of Akira Kurisawa fame) starred in the original anti-war masterpiece.

It would be great if Fox released a Blu-ray of that film fully restored (and actually well done). Make it part of their remastered Director's Series.

Listen up, studios! Just say "NO" to DNR and EE!!
