haven't seen a thread on this yet. rented it 2 weeks ago and while the plot and characters came out of a cereal box, the f/x and br transfer were impressive.

good enough for me to recommend this as a nice br to rent and watch.

Agreed, for popcorn eating, this movie gets it done.... some pretty spectacular visuals at times.

I liked it much better than the 1st one, but neither comes close to the fun of the original.

For me the main shortfall in this version versus Clash of the Titans was the music. Why they switched composers from Ramin Djawadi to Javier Navarrete is a puzzler. Navarrete's music neither enhanced the scenes or action which is something Djawadi did wonderfully and it's one of my favorite recent soundtracks. Plus the story and actors in the first were far more interesting.

Next time I watch I'll pay more attention to the music, but as I recall the music in the re-do of CotT did work very well.
