So far, all of Anderson's films on Blu-ray have looked pretty damn fantastic. Even the oldest, Bottle Rocket, had a superb transfer. Of course, it doesn't hurt that his oldest film is only 16 years old. Still, plenty of catalog titles on the format from the mid 90's look like crap.

The Royal Tenenbaums is easily my favorite film from Anderson and with the price cut to $19.99 thanks to Best Buy, it's an incredibly easy day one purchase for me. Can't wait to get my copy.

I just watched RT this morning... what a beautiful movie. the print looks a bit soft, but I still enjoyed it never the less.

Baumers suicide scene is outstanding and the supplements, while small, do let you into why royal called henry sherman "Coltrane"

Watched this last night on my 10' screen. This is one magnificent BD. The sound is extremely good.

There is one shot towards the end of the film where a realy nasty moire develops on Luke Wilson's blazer. Other than this one shot, the PQ is basically perfect. This disc will get a lot of re-watching.

RT looks fantastic. Combination with the darbee processor ( http://www.avsforum.com/t/1399154/darbee-vision-darblet) really allows this film's transfer to shine.

Yes I undertand the Zizzou part, but I don't understand what Darjeeling and Fantastic Mr Fox have to do with that since those have been out for 2 years?
