I've seen a similar thread on other forum sites but nothing that I can find on AVSForum so I thought I would start a thread dedicated to those who enjoy Bluray and Digibook collecting.

You can post your collection, share knowledge of upcoming releases, special deals, exclusives or anything steelbook or digibook related.

Hope to see some collectors on the thread!

I'll start of with my collection:

I also have some steelbook titles which I'll post another time.

Enjoy!

I figure this would be a sticky thread by now, seems natural to have a thread devoted to steelbooks and digibooks. Here's my collection of both:

Digibooks:

Steelbooks:

I'm pretty addicted now lol.

If you don't have them already Batman and Batman Returns (Tim Burton's Batman cycle) are down to 10 bucks each on Amazon in steelbooks. I ordered them

"Bring out yer dead!".."Wait I'm not dead yet!"..(Sound Austrian here) "WRONG !!" (You know what happens next..)

Oh course over here people won't be impressed if the disc is the same transfer as the one's in the regular case. rolleyes.gif Some people just don't collect things..Sad but true. frown.gif

Yeah I saw the batman films on Amazon. I actually got lucky and found Batman Returns at a local trade-in movie store and got it for $7.99. The first one I've ordered on Amazon. I'm staying away from the third and fourth movies because I can't collect a steelbook just because; I have to at least like the movie somewhat and I never cared for the post Burton films (not counting the Nolan films). One part of me though wants to get them to complete the set though lol.

Well I mean they're as collectible as any other unique packaging. You don't have to get into collecting them but generally they're produced for that effect. If you don't want the steelbook version you can always grab a regular release.
