The DBS V12 was destroyed in CR, not the DB5

No, it was a DBS (at least it said "DBS" on the seats). The Vanquish was in Die Another Day, aka "The Vanish". *groan*

Noted. wink.gif

However, my dilemma is I'm waiting on the Steelbook release and no one seems to know when that will be released (next month, next year??). The wait is killing me, LOL. smile.gif

For goodness sake, Redbox the film or something! You didn't check it out when it was in theaters? All this for a steelbook?

I wasn't saying it angrily. I'm excited for those who haven't seen the film.

I get the fascination about a steelbook, but not at the expense of having to hold out for seeing the actual film.

Just recognize that you're the "bizarre" one in this debacle. wink.gif

I rarely buy a movie sight-unseen, regardless of how good the reviews are.

Ironically, though, one of them was Casino Royale.

For a second, I thought I made this post. I've only made three or four blind-buys in my life, and CR was one of them for me as well.

Thanks in advance for the link!

If it's not explicitly laid out, it's the way the mods here have enforced those definitions. For example, Prometheus thread here have been locked, posters banned, etc. in order to enforce those definitions.

I was performing some research for an upcoming, unrelated review and came across this series of videos featuring Roger Deakins discussing his use of the ARRI ALEXA camera, particularly on In Time and Skyfall.

Well, "enforced those definitions" would imply that there ARE definitions to be referenced. Are they or are they not explicitly laid out somewhere? What I see happening is that people come here to comment on their software, they go on about any aspect of it that they like, including aspects of plot or characters, what have you, then someone or some element comes along to say that the way you are talking about content gets under my skin, then these elements make up some definition for what this forum is supposed to be about to buttress their case. Though it was anything goes before, now things get clamped down.

If these elements are not making this stuff up, then I just want to see where such notions came from. If mods are "enforcing" something some way, I take it they must have a codified point of reference -- the parameters of discussion for Blu-ray Software, something that would even allow a determination that standards are not being conformed to -- these must be laid out somewhere, otherwise how do they "enforce" something which is not a policy and indeed has never even been explained? -- how and/or why would they do it the first time?

All this strikes me as exceedingly bizarre. If someone has a link to "THE RULES" as it pertains to allowable subject matter here, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Does a small glue bubble in the clear outer rim of a blu-ray lead to rot?

The proper setting for sharpness is always0.
Also my Oppo BDP-103D is region free.
That makes me awesome.

I was really impressed with Skyfall. I ha e never been a Bond watcher but decided to give this a shot because of my brothers recommendation. I am happy I did because it was excellent. I was amazed at the quality and how it all sounded at reference level in my HT.

Guess I shouldn't even mention a lowly Vantage V8 will blow away most anything peeps on avs drive.

Loved Skyfall, best Bond yet (IMHO).... and yes, I have them all.
Up until Daniel Craig, Sean Connery was the "only" Bond, to me, glad to see Craig earned the title.
Loved the ties to Scotland and the old Aston Martin. Bravo!

Thats awesome. smile.gif

Pretty decent cars in the last few posts. Not as nice as my 95 Honda Passport. Of course it does not shift into 4th anymore due to a transmission issue and I cant drive it on the highway, but whatever....its still a bad ass ride. cool.gif Its worth at least $600 in its current condition......no doubt about it.
