Australia has the extended version as well. Watched it tonight ( ended up watching the extended version ) and I thought the film was quite good.

I enjoyed it as well. It sets up the premise and follows the progression while maintaining suspense, even though we all know the ending. Don't really care that Affleck took liberties with the story; wasn't looking for a documentary.

Agreed. Affleck is a gifted filmmaker and it showed in Argo. The pacing of the film was nearly perfect and both the dialog and the performances were terrific.
